Here's exactly how it works.
No surprises. No guesswork. Just a clear path from where you are to a brand that works.
Whether you're trying to decide if this is the right move, or you just booked and you're wondering what happens next — this page is for you. Every project I take on follows the same framework. You'll always know where we are, what's coming, and what I need from you to keep things moving.

THE Process
The Consult Call
1
Before I touch a design file, I need to understand your business. This starts with a free 15-minute consult call — not a sales pitch, just a real conversation. I'll ask about your business, your audience, your goals, and what's not working about your current brand. If we're a good fit, I'll send over a proposal.
Once you sign and submit your deposit, you'll get an onboarding document that outlines everything: the timeline, the tools we'll use, what I need from you, and how we'll communicate. Read it. It's short, and it'll save us both a lot of back-and-forth.
Note: I never start a project without a signed contract and a deposit. This protects both of us.
YOUR ROLE
✓ Book the free 15-min consult call
✓ Show up honest — tell me what's not working
✓ Review and sign the proposal + contract
✓ Submit your deposit to lock in your start date
✓ Read your onboarding document
This call is free. No pitch, no pressure. If it's a good fit, we'll move forward. If it's not, I'll tell you that too.
Strategy Buildout
2
This is where we build the foundation your brand will be designed from. I'll send you a brand questionnaire — and then we'll walk through it together on a call. Not because you can't fill it out yourself, but because the best answers come out in conversation, not a form. We'll talk about your audience, your competitors, your voice, and the feeling you want your brand to create.
From there, I write a brand brief that captures everything we discussed. This is the document I work from for the rest of the project. You'll see it, approve it, and if anything's off, we fix it before design starts — not after.
YOUR ROLE
✓ Complete the brand questionnaire before our call
✓ Show up to the strategy call ready to think out loud
✓ Review and approve the brand brief
✓ Flag anything that doesn't feel right — this is the time
DESIGN
3
Design starts with paper, not a screen. I do dozens of sketches before I open a design file — exploring directions, pushing ideas, throwing out what doesn't work. From those sketches, I build 2–3 mood boards that capture different visual directions for your brand. We review them together, talk through what's resonating and what isn't, and align on a direction before I go further.
Once direction is approved, I develop 3 refined logo concepts — each one intentional, each one tied directly to the strategy we built. No filler options. No 'here's one I think you'll like and two throwaways.' All three are viable. You pick the one that fits.
Note: 3 mood boards → 1 approved direction → 3 logo concepts. This is the sequence every time.
YOUR ROLE
✓ Review mood boards with an open mind — these aren't logos yet
✓ Give specific feedback, not just "I like it" or "I don't"
✓ Select a logo concept direction to develop further
Refine
4
With your logo direction approved, I build out the full brand system — color palette, typography, badge logos, supporting assets, and any add-ons included in your package. Everything is designed to work together, not just look good in isolation.
Revision rounds happen here. Depending on your package, you have 1–3 structured rounds to refine the work. Feedback is most useful when it's specific: 'the weight of this feels too heavy' lands better than 'something's off.' My job is to make sure what we deliver matches what we agreed to build — and I take that seriously.
Note: Revision rounds are structured, not open-ended. Scope is defined at kickoff so we both know what "done" looks like.
YOUR ROLE
✓ Review deliverables against the approved brand brief
✓ Give clear, specific feedback in each revision round
✓ Approve final brand system before file delivery
Deliver
5
Final files are packaged, organized, and delivered through HoneyBook. You'll get every format you need — PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG, and EPS where applicable — organized so you can actually find things. Not a zip file with 40 mystery files and no labels.
We close with a final review call where I walk you through what everything is, how to use it, and what to hand to a printer, a designer, or a social media manager if you ever need to. Amplify clients also get 30 days of post-delivery support — questions, guidance, and light adjustments as you start rolling out.
Note: Files are delivered only after final payment is submitted.
YOUR ROLE
✓ Attend the final review call
✓ Submit final payment before file delivery
✓ Confirm you can open and access all files
✓ Reach out within 30 days with any questions (Amplify clients)
TIMELINE & PAYMENT TRANSPARENCY
TIMELINES
How long does a project take?
Every package has a defined timeline, and I stick to it. Here's what to expect:
Origin → 3–4 weeks
Evolve → 4–5 weeks
Amplify → 6–8 weeks
Timelines start from your project kickoff date — not the day you sign. Kickoff is scheduled after your deposit is received and your onboarding document is complete.
Delays on your end (late questionnaire responses, slow feedback rounds) will push the timeline. I'll always let you know where we stand.
PAYMENT
How does payment work?
Every project is split into two payments:
50% deposit
Due at signing. This locks in your start date and officially kicks off the project. I don't begin work without it.
50% final payment
Due before final file delivery. Files are released once payment is confirmed.
Payment is handled through HoneyBook. You'll get a link in your onboarding document — no chasing invoices, no confusion about what's due when.
THE GUARANTEE
THE TIMBO.SLICES GUARANTEE
If the work misses the mark, I'll make it right.
Every package comes with clear deliverables, defined at kickoff - so we both know exactly what we're building and what done looks like. If I deliver your final files and the work doesn't match what we agreed on, tell me. I don't want your money for something that doesn't serve your brand. We'll fix it before you close the project.
